Today it is very cold out, it is so cold that when I go outside, my nose just solid like a rock and my cheeks turn bright red. I have been told that this is the coldest weather that we have had here since 1885. The only cool thing about the cold weather is the snow, and school did get canceled. I love the snow days. For one day during the week when I’m suppose to be in school learning, but instead I’m at home having a blast. And it was also the first snow day that I have ever experienced, first snow day that the whole town has experienced in a very long time. The most interesting thing about the snow day was that I got to make myself a real snowman, a snow man made of real snow that fell from the sky.

 

One sad thing happen this winter, old Miss Radley died this winter but it did not leave a huge impact on my life, because the only time that I seen old Miss Radley was when she was watering her cannas. I’ve heard that old Miss Radley just died from natural causes. I’m so glad that she just died from natural causes and nothing like cancer that causes a lot of pain, and is a slowly death. Also what happened that was not very good at all was miss Maudie’s house burned down to the ground, I think that the house burned down from her fire place in her house, no one got critically injured in the fire everyone was safe. That is all the main things that happened in my life this winter.

For my two hundred word blog I’m going to write about Scout. Scouts real name is Jean Louise, Scout is in the first grade, but one thing that I noticed about Scout was that she was very smart, she was way more advanced then the other students in her class. Scout has an older brother named Jem who is in the fifth grade, I noticed that Jem was very smart to just like his little sister Scout. Scout and Jem’s mother died so they don’t live with their real mother. Scout, and Jem remind me of some friends that I have that I used to live by, there names were Austin and Vanessa, Austin was a year older then me, and his sister Vanessa was a couple years older than me, but me and Austin were pretty good friends. There mom killed her self when I was in seventh grade, and those two kids then lived with there grandparents till they got old enough to live on their own. The only thing that is opposite about them was after there mom died, there grades fell down the hole because they couldn’t handle it. Both of the kids ended up graduating though. I think that Scout’s teacher is very rude to her, because she is way smarter then any of the other kids in the class. I think that the teacher likes to yell at Scout for the dumbest reasons. Since Scout is the narrator in the book I think that the book is more exiting, because you get to see it from her point of view.
